Bio-identical Hormone Therapy

Understanding Bio-Identical Hormones

Bio-identical hormones are plant-derived hormones that are chemically identical to the hormones produced by the human body. They are a safe, and effective alternative to synthetic hormones, offering relief from peri-menopausal symptoms without the risks associated with conventional hormone replacement therapy (HRT). The most prescribed hormones are progesterone, estrogen and testosterone.

Benefits of Bio-Identical Hormones for Peri-Menopausal Women

  • Relief from hot flashes, night sweats, and mood swings
  • Improved sleep quality and energy levels
  • Enhanced sexual health and libido
  • Protection against osteoporosis and heart disease
